“It wasn't jazz, it wasn't rock, it wasn't anything; it was our own individual sound.”
–Jean-Michel Basquiat

Six Corners is the name of a popular intersection within the city of Chicago and the main source of inspiration and visual language for this jazz festival. It’s a place where music intersects and converges, where tradition meets transformation.

Start with a tease...

Prior to the launch of the festival, these teaser ads will be released throughout the City of Chicago.

The street signs pay homage to the “real” Six Corners as dubbed by the natives of this city.

Brand Guides

Punchy colors symbolizing the energy of jazz music mixed with the angular logo and shapes convey the feeling one gets when listening to this genre. The photography is gritty and abstract much like the music.
